NFV finished a strong third at Saturday’s Sectional wrestling meet in Decorah.

Four TigerHawks finished second, earning the right to compete in the District Meet this Saturday in Indendence.

Levi Lauer (120), Gunner Rodgers (138), Jesse Daughton (152), and Weston Fantz (160) will all compete in Independence for the right to appear at the State Wrestling Meet Wednesday through Saturday, Feb. 13-16, in Des Moines.

While all four face uphill battles because they have to start District action against the winners at the Sectional in Parkersburg, head coach Jacob Pedersen said “We saw where we need to make some small tweaks in all four wrestlers. If they can follow our corrections, we can make some things happen.”
