South Winneshiek had a pair of medalists Friday as the boys’ and girls’ teams took on Clayton Ridge. The meet was initially scheduled to be played at Silver Springs Golf Course in Ossian; however, course conditions forced the meet to be moved to Guttenberg.

“We still haven’t gotten to play on our own course (this season), so both teams are struggling with their short game,” said coach Doug Schweinefus. “Considering we haven’t practiced much, the kids went out and worked hard.”

The Warrior boys picked up their second win in as many meets this season, defeating the Eagles, 184-218.
