Delores M. Pfister, 77, of Oelwein, Iowa died on Tuesday evening, February 20, 2018 at Oelwein Health Care Center in Oelwein.

Funeral Service:  11:00 A.M. Monday, February 26, 2018 at the Jamison-Schmitz Funeral Home, Oelwein, with Pastor Duane Olsen officiating.

Visitation:  9:00 to 11:00 A.M. on Monday at the Jamison-Schmitz Funeral Home, Oelwein.

Interment:  Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, rural Oelwein, Iowa.

Delores Marie Solomon was born on October 14, 1940 in rural Fayette County, Iowa the daughter of Howard Alden & Myrtle Marie (Bridges) Solomon.  She graduated from Fayette High School in the class of 1960.  Delores was united in marriage to Ernest Junior Pfister on June 20, 1964 in Independence, Iowa.  Delores worked at Norby Farm Fleet in Oelwein for 30 years.  She enjoyed crocheting, word puzzles and reading.

Delores is survived by her:

Son: Brian (Lori) Pfister of Hawkeye;

2 Grandchildren:  Justin and Ashton Pfister;

Sister:  Darlene (George) Cowles of Mission, Texas and

Nieces & Nephews.

Delores was preceded in death by her parents and her husband: Junior on April 11, 2017.
