The North Fayette Valley boys’ track team had a good first outing of the season at the Wartburg Indoor in Waverly on  Tuesday, March 14.

While no team scores were kept, the TigerHawk coaches were very pleased with some good results in a field of over 25 teams from all four state classes.

Jace Burrow led the way with a gold medal in the 55 hurdles. Dylan Larson flashed his way to silver in the 400, and Tanner Kuhens won the bronze in the long jump. Also winning bronze was the 4x200 of Tylen and Jace Burrow, Jordan Einck and Logan West.

While West did not qualify for the eight-man final heat in the 55 dash, his time of 7.14 won his heat and came within .05 of a second from making the finals.
