AlNathen Blue

AlNathen (Muggs) Blue passed away on Monday, June 22, 2015 after an illness at the age of 75.

Muggs was born on April 14, 1940 to Deva Fish and Ed Blue.

He was united in marriage to LeeAnn Northrop June 19, 1965: they made their home in Waucoma, Iowa.

Muggs retired from ConAgra Foods in Fredericksburg in 2001.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting, being outside, playing cards, and spending time with family and friends.

Muggs is survived by his daughter, Kim Blue, of Sumner; a grandson, Nathen Blue (Megan), and a great-granddaughter, Bella all of Sumner; one sister, Sue Howe, Jericho; and two brothers, Keith (Nancy) Blue, Cerulean, KY; and Tuffy Blue, Waucoma; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, LeeAnn in 2014, his parents, and several siblings: Edna Pascal, Waucoma; Donald Blue Sr., Fayette; and Dick Blue, Independence.

A Celebration of Life was held on Thursday, June 25 from 4:00 to 8:00 at the Event Center in Waucoma.
