Lady Warriors shoot down Eagles, 3-2

It was an exciting week for the South Winn volleyball team as they faced a tough Clayton Ridge team on the road and took part in the Decorah Tournament against several ranked opponents.

On Thursday, the Lady Warriors were slow out of the gate in game one, but back-to-back ace serves by senior Lexie Warth put SW in the driver’s seat as the Warriors cruised to a 25-18 win.

It was back and forth early in set two for the two UIC teams, with the Eagles coming out on top, 25-20.

South Winn returned to game three with a vengeance and dominated at the net as well as the service line to win, 25-11.

CR forced a game five after taking the fourth set, 25-19.
