Saturday’s home game was a tale of two halves, and the TigerHawk boys came out on the short end in the vital second half to fall to Decorah, 48-43, on Jan. 11, in West Union.

NFV played extremely well in the first half against the Vikings, taking a 26-13 lead into the locker room.

However, the visitors lit it up over the final 16 minutes, including holding the TigerHawks to a 20-9 score in the final quarter.

Austin Callahan led the TH scoring with 13 points; he also led the rebounding effort with eight.

Lincoln Johansen added eight points and five boards, while Tristan Riley and Alex Callahan chipped in with seven points; Alex also ripped down seven rebounds.

NFV is now 4-4 on the season and 4-1 in the UIC, while Decorah moved to 4-4 with all of the wins coming against UIC opponents.
