Matt plans to keep moving Clermont forward

Not once in his 22 years of service has Clermont mayor-elect Jim Matt regretted being a member of the city council that serves the small northeast Iowa community.

“When I started, we didn’t have the budget we have now,” noted Matt, who has been employed at Bodensteiner Implement in Clermont since 1974. “And nowadays budgets are more detailed than ever with various categories to be accounted for.”
