NFV to present 'Alice in Wonderland'

Those looking to escape into the imaginary world of eccentric characters for a night need look no further than North Fayette Valley’s upcoming high school play, Disney’s “Alice in Wonderland.”

North Fayette Valley senior Kaylin Muggler recently won the Iowa School Safety Alliance video contest, in which she made a video to promote Iowa Safe Schools Week, Oct. 16-21. For taking first place, Muggler won $1,000 for her school; she gets to decide what the money will be used for. She hopes to turn it into a scholarship. (Chris DeBack photo)

North Fayette Valley senior Kaylin Muggler recently won the Iowa School Safety Alliance’s (ISSA) video contest to demonstrate the importance of Iowa Safe Schools Week.

Muggler’s speech teacher, Kelli Kovarik, was the one who introduced her to the contest. Kovarik knew of Muggler’s talent and passion for creating videos as a hobby and presented her with the idea of creating the video.
